Caritas

Coordinates the corporal works of mercy for the parish. “Caritas” means charity or acts of love. Activities include: food and emergency assistance through the Blessed Sacrament, St. James, and St. Mary St. Vincent DePaul conferences, outreach collections (raincoats, toiletries, food, socks, etc.), Christmas giving trees, free community meals, distributing the parish’s charity funds, and the community service apostolate projects .

A food pantry that distributes nonperishable food and grocery store gift cards to the needy and homeless in our area.  Please call 330-395-2081 for an appointment. 

The usual hours of operation are: 

Monday – 10:30AM to 1:00PM
Tuesday – 11:30AM to 1:00PM
Wednesday – 11:30AM to 1:00PM
Thursday – 1:00PM to 2:00PM
Friday – 11:30AM to 1:00PM
Saturday – CLOSED
Sunday – CLOSED
