Christmas in June
The Christmas trees will be up in the gathering/welcome desk spaces through the month of June. This tradition provides midyear help to many. Please take an ornament, make a donation, place it in an envelope or card, and return it to the wrapped box in the gathering space at any of our 3 churches. You can also drop off donations at the parish office or mail them directly to the organization you choose to support. We mail collected donations to the organizations. Thank you for your kindness and support for these organizations who continually serve those most in need!
Angela’s Place: Ursuline Sisters’ HIV Ministry serving men, women and children infected by HIV. Checks, made payable to: Ursuline Sisters’ HIV Ministry OR Gift cards for gas, Giant Eagle, Walmart
Beatitude House: Ursuline sisters serving women and children of the Valley bound in the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
Checks, payable to: Beatitude House OR Gas, Walmart, or ALDI gift cards
Matthew D. Karlovic Memorial Fund: The fund is supported by donations and assists children and adults with disabilities in varied ways: therapy equipment, events, gifts, accessibility items and research dollars, summer enrichment program, etc. Checks, payable to the Matthew D. Karlovic Memorial Fund
Dorothy Day House: Catholic Worker organization hosting and serving meals to the needy in Youngstown, Ohio.

Emmanuel Community Center: This branch of HM housing provides housing and assistance for homeless persons with disabilities that prevent them from living independently. Gift Cards to: Giant Eagle, ALDI, or Walmart
Someplace Safe: Comprehensive services to victims/families of domestic violence, including shelter, counseling, legal victim advocacy and crisis intervention. Checks, payable to: Someplace Safe OR gift cards for Shoe Carnival, Walmart, Walgreens, Dollar General, Target, or gas
Bella Women’s Center: This medical clinic in Warren, Ohio, offers free professional, compassionate, and confidential services, including medical-grade pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds to understand the status of a pregnancy, and other medical testing. Checks made payable to: Bella Women’s Center
Christmas in June at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish
- Take an ornament.
- Place your donation with the ornament in an envelope or card. Put it in the wrapped Christmas box by the tree, drop at the parish office, or mail directly to the organization you are supporting.
- We will mail the collected donations to the organizations in July.
