Sr. Alina Marie is a Junior Sister with the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate. Originally from Georgia, Sister is one of four children. After graduating from college and working for some years, Sister entered the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate where she discovered the beauty of her contemplative-missionary vocation in following the footsteps of the Good Shepherd and living in imitation of Our Lady’s Visitation to Elizabeth. Since her entrance, Sister has grown in her relationship with the Lord through the life of prayer, community, and apostolic service God has blessed her with in her community. On May 31, 2019, Sister made her first profession of vows. As a Parish Visitor of Mary Immaculate, sister has served in various apostolates including door-to-door visitation in Philadelphia and in temporary missions in Upper Michigan and Ireland. She also served as a Religious Education Coordinator for 2 years in New Jersey. Sister is excited to be here in Warren and to give everyone she meets the greatest gift of all – the JOY of knowing the One who fulfills all the desires of the heart – Jesus Christ!
