The Blessed Sacrament Community Service Apostolate, formerly know as “The Men’s Group,” mission has not changed in more than two decades. We have been responding to requests within Blessed Sacrament and outside the parish to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever we can.
In the past, we have been active in the renovation of Providence Center in anticipation of the arrival of the sisters of the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate. We painted Reagan Hall and helped renovate the Holy Family Hall kitchen. We’ve turned out for landscaping projects in the spring and fall, put up and taken down outside Christmas lights, as well as set up tables and chairs for various parish events. Over the years we’ve also responded to calls to place or remove flags on veterans’ graves, installed smoke detectors in private homes and delivered food packages to the needy. We’ve even mowed lawns and gathered leaves for parishioners and non parishioners who needed help.
