Sr. Marie Michelle

Novice of the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate

330-372-2215

Michelle was raised in Merrick, New York by her parents Anthony and Maria.  Her older brother Brian is now married and lives in California. Michelle attended High School in Long Island, NY and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to entering the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate on September 8, 2022, she was actively involved in the pro-life movement in New York as a sidewalk advocate for life, and a volunteer at her local women’s pregnancy care center.  In addition, Michelle volunteered at a soup kitchen, her parish youth group, and in the faith formation of children.  She is grateful and happy to be at Blessed Sacrament and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parishes helping her sisters with the Religious Education of the children, as well as various events within the community. She received the name Sr. Marie Michelle when she entered the novitiate of the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate on March 25, 2023 during a private ceremony at their Motherhouse in New York. Sr. Marie Michelle will now spend a portion of her apostolic novitiate year here in Warren.
